Samizdat Typewriter

Samizdat — "self-publishing" — was the clandestine retyping of banned manuscripts across the Eastern Bloc. Each text was struck onto thin onionskin over carbon paper, every successive copy fainter than the one before. This referent is that third or fourth carbon: aged tea-toned newsprint, faded methyl-violet ribbon text, a stitched binding gutter at the spine. The load-bearing color is aniline carbon, never black.

萨米兹达特（Samizdat，意为「自出版」）是冷战时期东欧与苏联地下流传的禁书复制传统。 异见作家把手稿打在薄如蝉翼的葱皮纸上，下垫碳纸，一份压一份，越往后字迹越淡。 这套主题取的正是第三、第四道碳拷贝的样子：陈茶色的旧报纸纸面，褪色的甲基紫色打字机 色带字迹，书脊处一道缝订的装订沟。主角颜色是苯胺碳紫，而非纯黑。
