About Zambian Chitenge
A chitenge is two yards of wax-printed cotton designed as a single image, border and all. Nothing on it is left blank: the magenta-purple field runs to the trim edge, a gold motif carries the pattern across it, and a portrait roundel sits dead centre with its slogan curving overhead in an arc.
Commemorative cloth adds the flag — green, red, orange, black — as flat opaque blocks that clash on purpose. This system keeps that logic intact: centred rather than left-aligned, bounded rather than tiled, saturated rather than tasteful, printed rather than lit.
