The flooded Longji terraces of Guangxi are stacked water mirrors carved into the mountainside by the Zhuang and Yao peoples over some 650 years. At dusk the contour-following paddies turn to sheets of shadowed green water, holding mist and the last grey-blue light of the sky.
This system reads from that dusk ground — a deep paddy green, never a white sky — layered with shoot greens, mist sage, ripe-rice tan, and cool water-mirror blue. CJK serif and brush calligraphy carry the East Asian agrarian voice.
