Buncheong is the coarse greenish-gray stoneware of the early Joseon era — a clay body brushed with chalky white slip under a green-tinted, semi-translucent glaze. Loose folk brushwork, sgraffito incisions, and a warmth-free gray-green tone give it a soft, hand-thrown character that sits between celadon and porcelain.
This system distills that pottery surface into a quiet, monochrome design language: a soft greenish-gray ground, chalky slip whites for marks, and dark incised lines — spontaneous and imperfect, never a clean white page.
