Kyoto Machiya Stay

ProMax

Kyoto's machiya townhouses — charred cedar facades, indigo noren curtains, tatami floors catching afternoon light — have become the canvas for a new wave of design-led hospitality. This system captures that specific atmosphere: shou sugi ban black as the dominant ground, washi-paper cream as the surface, and restrained indigo-and-persimmon accents that feel like 4 PM in a Gion courtyard.
