Chefchaouen Blue Medina

ProMax

Chefchaouen is Morocco's "blue pearl" — a Rif-mountain medina washed floor-to-roof in chalky cyan-teal limewash. Every alley, staircase and keyhole doorway is painted a cooling washed blue, with no official shade: each household mixes its own, so the range spans powdery cyan through medium washed blue.

This design system distills that hand-painted matte limewash into digital form — a washed-cyan ground, brush-streaked uneven coverage, indigo shadows pooling in recesses, and Maghrebi display warmth balanced by a humanist Latin sans.
