The Vitsœ 606 Universal Shelving System, designed by Dieter Rams in 1960 and made continuously ever since, is the archetype of functional modernism. Anodised-aluminium E-tracks bolt to a plain plaster wall and carry pins, shelves and cabinets in a strict modular rhythm.
