Venice Carnival Gondola

ProMax

Venice at masked-ball hour: the lagoon gone black-green under lantern light, a gondola sliding past candy-striped bricole while gilded carnival masks catch the gold. The whole system rests on one collision — deep canal teal against beaten mask-gold, the water of the Serenissima and the leaf-gilt of San Marco. The winged Lion of St Mark presides, Roman capitals are cut like stone over a palazzo door, and everything reads as ceremony: brocade weight, damask density, velvet hush. Put on the mask, step into the gondola, let the lagoon become a stage.
