Burmese Shwedagon Stupa Relief

ProMax

The Shwedagon Pagoda rises 99 metres above Yangon, its surface clad in thousands of gold-leaf squares donated by individual pilgrims across centuries. This design system captures the night-photograph contrast of brilliant 24-karat gold ornament against tropical black sky, with deep teak-red lacquer panels and naga-emerald accents providing jewel-toned depth.

Every element references the stupa's layered materiality — tiered terraces, chinthe-lion borders, lotus-bud pinnacles — rendered through gold gradients, lacquer surfaces, and ceremonial serif typography that refuses European minimalist restraint.
