The Thai san phra phum is a miniature shrine raised on a single post, where the guardian spirit of the land — the Phra Phum — is honored with daily offerings. Gold-leaf gables and carved scroll trim frame a deep lacquer-red cavity, ringed with marigold garlands, incense, and red Fanta.
This design system reads the way the shrine reads: gilt detail glinting on dark lacquer red. Carved gold ornament is structure, white plaster is a support tone, and the page is always the red interior cavity — never bare or pale.
