The Khon Hanuman mask is a lacquered-and-gilded headpiece worn in Thailand's royal Ramakien dance-drama. Hanuman, the white monkey warrior, is instantly known by his pearl-white face highlighted with precise green and pink, a tiered gold coronet (chada) rising above, and a gaping fanged mouth set with a jewel — all built up in lacquer relief by the chang hua khon, the court mask-makers.
This design system stages that iconography digitally: a dark lacquer ground on which pearl-white surfaces and gold ornament read as the illuminated subject, with saturated green, pink, and deep red placed as tight, deliberate accents.
