The Tatar ichigi is a Kazan soft boot built entirely from colour-blocked morocco (goatskin) leather in the Kaiyly Kün mosaic technique. Jewel-tone leather pieces are butt-jointed edge-to-edge — no overlap, no appliqué — and every seam is outlined by twisted gold and coloured silk thread pulled through by hand.
This is true leather mosaic, not embroidery: emerald, sapphire, red and golden-yellow cutouts stitched into curling vegetal scrolls, read against a dominant deep-emerald leather field. The design system translates that grained, saturated, seam-outlined craft into a dark, ornate interface where the gold thread supplies every edge.
