Tajik Chakan Embroidery

Chakan is the Tajik chain-stitch embroidery of Kulob and the Pamir, worked in bright silk thread on cotton and silk for bridal dress. Solar rosettes, the pomegranate flower of fertility, and the cypress of life are stitched in red, indigo, and green, with gold, violet, and an off-white that signals love between bride and groom.

This design system carries that tradition to screen on a deep brick-red bridal ground, where saturated jewel-tone silk and a symmetrical bridal-panel rhythm let the white-and-color motif read as the figure, never the page.

恰康（Chakan）是塔吉克斯坦库洛布与帕米尔地区的链式刺绣，以鲜艳的丝线在棉布与丝绸上为新娘嫁衣绣制。太阳花结、象征多子的石榴花、象征生命的柏树，以红、靛蓝、绿三色为主，辅以金、紫，以及代表新人之爱的米白色。

本设计系统将这一传统带入数字界面：以深砖红的新娘底布为基底，饱和的宝石色丝线与对称的嫁衣式版式让白色与彩色的纹样成为主角，底布始终只是背景，绝不喧宾夺主。
