The rushnyk is Ukraine's embroidered ceremonial linen towel — stitched in red and black cross-stitch on bleached hemp cloth, hung above icons, draped over wedding korovai, carried under the feet of brides. Every border motif — berehynia, vazon, eight-pointed zirka — belongs to a codified visual vocabulary over a thousand years old.
This design system renders the icon-corner at Easter: deep vyshyvanka red as the ceremonial ground, linen-white panels bearing cross-stitch grid textures, wheat-gold accents catching candlelight. The typography carries the weight of Cyrillic state printing; the geometry carries the discipline of counted-thread embroidery.
