Sufi Zoomorphic Calligraphy

Sufi zoomorphic calligraphy is the mystical art of shaping sacred Arabic script into living forms — gold thuluth verses bent into the bodies of birds, lions, and horses. Created for tekke and hilye panels in dervish lodges, it fuses the master calligrapher's discipline with tezhip illumination: shell-gold script on deep indigo and lapis grounds.

This design system translates that devotional luminosity into digital form — gold against night-blue, never paper, never cream. Illuminated cartouches, gilt leaf-and-vine borders, and mirrored compositions carry the meditative weight of the original panels onto the screen.
