The Yazidi visual tradition radiates from Lalish valley — indigo nights pierced by seven gold sun-rays and the iridescent eye of Tawûsî Melek. Hammered brass sanjak standards, conical white shrine spires, and peacock-feather medallions form a sacred geometry older than the 12th-century reform.

After 2014, Kurdish-Yazidi designers in Duhok and the diaspora reclaimed these motifs in memorial posters, embroidered textiles, and silver jewelry — forging a contemporary visual language that honors deep mineral color and repoussé craft.
