Severance Lumon

Severance built the Lumon "severed floor" as a retro-futuristic corporate uncanny valley: an endless office of putrid kelly-green wall-to-wall carpet under cold fluorescent light, stark white linoleum corridors, and green-on-black CRT terminals.

Production designer Jeremy Hindle chose the green deliberately — "green is the most common color to your eye" — to make the space read like a childlike, eerie playground. This system distills that sterile institutional dread into a usable palette of dull office greens, corporate blue, and phosphor terminal glow.

Apple TV+ 剧集《人生切割术》将鲁蒙工业的「分离楼层」打造成一座复古未来主义的企业「恐怖谷」：在冷白荧光灯下，铺满整层的污浊翠绿色地毯无尽延伸，惨白亚麻油毡走廊、中世纪现代主义的粗野标识，以及黑底绿字的 CRT 终端屏幕共同构成令人不安的办公空间。

美术指导 Jeremy Hindle 刻意选用这种绿色——「绿色是人眼最常见的颜色」——让空间读起来像一座孩子气而诡异的游乐场。本设计系统将这种无菌、压抑的机构氛围提炼为可用的色彩语言：暗哑的办公绿、鲁蒙企业蓝，以及磷光终端的荧光绿。
