Termeh is the handwoven silk-and-wool brocade of Yazd, where for seven centuries each silk thread was wrapped in gold and worked into dense boteh and Shah-Abbasi repeats for royal khalaat robes. This system takes the authentic dark bottle-green field of a green-ground court brocade and lets muted antique-gold paisley climb across it. Everything reads as tightly packed metallic-thread motif raised on a lustrous, sheened weave — jujube-red accents glinting between the gold like the pile catching the light.
