Patan Patola Double Ikat

ProMax

Patan Patola is the double-ikat mulberry-silk saree of the Salvi family of Gujarat, where both warp and weft threads are resist-dyed before weaving to produce a fully reversible heirloom. A deep madder-maroon field carries the precise Nari Kunjar grid of women, elephants, parrots, and dancing figures in bold red, green, yellow, and black.

This design system distills that reversible double-ikat tradition into digital form — a saturated maroon ground, strict mirror-symmetric lattices, undyed cream-yellow resist flecks as the only "light," and the soft feathered edge that is the unmistakable signature of resist-dyed silk.
