About Pamukkale Travertines
A design system cut from a white cliff. Pamukkale's travertines are calcite laid down by 35°C spring water over roughly 400,000 years: rimmed pools stepping down 200 metres, mostly bare crust, with sky lying in the shallows and real teal only where a basin runs deep.
Above them stands Hierapolis, a Roman spa city in weathered limestone. The system pairs both halves: lobed terrace tiers and rippled strata for the stone, Cinzel capitals and straight colonnades for the city.
