Sindhi Ralli Quilt

Ralli is the Sindhi and Cholistani women's quilting tradition — three-layer cotton bedding stitched from old saris and shalwar-kameez into bold geometric mosaics. For four millennia, village women in Pakistan's Sindh and Cholistan deserts have tiled concentric squares, mirror-paired triangles, and chevron bands in saturated jewel-tones, then bound the edges with contrast-color piping.

The aesthetic insists every old cloth becomes a square patch, every patch is part of a giant geometric mosaic, and the colors must SING. Vermilion, golden-yellow, leaf-green, and indigo blocks lock together with mathematical rhythm against a cotton-white ground — modular, scalable, and unapologetically loud.

Ralli 是巴基斯坦信德省与乔利斯坦沙漠世代相传的女性拼布艺术，距今已有四千多年历史。在信德村落里，祖母把磨旧的莎丽和长袍裁成方形小布块，缝成三层棉被——上面是几何花样，中间是夯实的棉絮，下层是素色衬里。每一床 Ralli 都是一位女人随身携带的画作。

花样从不留白，也不暧昧。同心方块、镜像三角、之字波纹、放射状菱形坛城——它们以严格的对称在大面积上反复铺陈，像沙漠绿洲里突然炸开的花田。配色规矩同样硬气：朱砂红、藏黄、叶绿、靛蓝、玫红、橙黄五到七色齐发，色块之间用纯白棉布镶边，像唱腔里的高音。镜片小圆盘点缀其间，反射阳光像撒了一把碎银。这是一个不靠渐变、不靠柔和、靠"色彩齐声合唱"的视觉传统。
