About Chinese Spring Festival Red Couplet关于 Chinese Spring Festival Red Couplet

The spring couplet is China's most democratic art form — every household door becomes a canvas for brush-written poetry each Lunar New Year. Vermilion paper, mineral-black ink, and gold-leaf accents compose a visual language unchanged since the Ming dynasty's 1368 edict mandating doorway couplets.

This system translates that ritual into interface design: saturated 大红 red grounds, cream paper content surfaces, calligraphic heading type, and paired vertical compositions that echo the couplet's bilateral symmetry.
