Cigarette Card Set

The cigarette card was a small chromolithographed picture slipped into a pack of tobacco — a Wills or Player's miniature framed by a printed double-rule border, numbered within its series, with an educational reverse. Its card stock has toned to a warm buff over a century, the inks settled into muted earth. This system rebuilds that object: a sepia frame around a small illustration, layered brick-red, muted-green and gold-ochre accents over aged ecru, with the soft stipple and slight mis-registration of stone-printed colour. It feels scholarly, collectible, and lovingly designed.
