This is the review station of a neuro monitoring unit, projected one step forward: the near-black panel that replaced ink pens writing EEG on paper at 30 mm/s. Stacked horizontal channels, each labelled by its electrode pair, run silver-grey across an unlit ground. Nothing glows.
Violet is a calibration reference, not decoration — a one-pixel marker, a selector state, a thin left rule. The vocabulary is documented convention: sequential and referential montages, the named frequency bands, real implant hardware. Legibility is the whole design brief.
