Neubrutalist Web Design

Neubrutalist Web Design is the early-2020s revival of raw, anti-polish UI. It strips away gradients, soft shadows, and rounded corners in favor of chunky blocks bounded by thick solid-black outlines and zero radius. Hard offset drop shadows sit like an off-center stamp, and clashing high-saturation accents — electric yellow, hot pink, cyan, lime — collide over a flat high-key canvas.

Born from the brutalist web movement and the anti-design backlash against generic SaaS polish, it weaponizes deliberate harshness. The result reads loud, honest, and unmistakably hand-built — interface as poster, not as glass.
