UK Acid House is the visual explosion of Britain's Second Summer of Love — a movement that replaced punk's snarl with ecstasy-fueled euphoria and chose fluorescent acid yellow as its war paint. Born in London warehouse parties and Manchester's Haçienda, its graphic language was the photocopied rave flyer: smiley faces, melting neon type, and hot magenta-cyan chromatic aberration screaming from every lamppost and record sleeve.
This design system captures that energy in tokens: acid yellow grounds, chunky black smiley-line outlines, fluorescent three-color accents, rounded pill buttons, and hand-drawn letterforms that drip with warehouse-at-4am intensity. It is deliberately loud, deliberately busy, and deliberately anti-corporate.
