Moon (2009), directed by Duncan Jones with concept design by Gavin Rothery, gives us the Sarang lunar station: a quiet, slightly cool white modular interior lit by bounced light, accented by amber caution strips and an orange access ladder. GERTY's yellow smiley LCD is the station's only warmth.
This design system distills that retro-2001 minimalism into a digital language — cool panel-white surfaces, condensed signage typography, and the disciplined use of GERTY/caution amber as the single emotional accent in an otherwise even, evenly-lit interior.
