Joseph Kosinski's *Oblivion* (2013) stages its future from the Sky Tower — a clinical, bright-white lacquered glass-and-steel home suspended three thousand feet above an endless cloud deck. It is Mies-van-der-Rohe minimalism wrapped in cool projected sky: sterile, Apple-clean futurism lit almost entirely by reflected pale daylight.
This design system translates that high-key world into interface form — a cool blue-grey near-white ground reading as the cloud-sea, glass-steel grey accents, hairline mullion borders, and a single crisp cloud-cyan glow. Black appears only in screens and the bubbleship.
