Kit Kat Japan turned a chocolate bar into a regional-flavor mythology: matcha from Uji, sakura from Tokyo spring, wasabi from Shizuoka, hojicha from Kyoto. Each of the ~400+ limited flavors gets its own saturated packaging color, anchored by the same Kit-Kat-red wordmark.
The visual language is the Tokyo airport souvenir wall — rows of saturated boxes, each shouting its flavor in chunky display type. It's populist, joyful, collectible, and unapologetically loud. Refined-luxury minimalism does not live here.
