About Stüssy Streetwear
Stüssy is the foundational California streetwear brand, born in 1980 when surfboard-shaper Shawn Stüssy scrawled his own graffiti-tag onto T-shirts in Laguna Beach. The chunky hand-tag logo and saturated-primary surf-skate graphics defined a counterculture aesthetic that 40 years later seeded Supreme and the entire streetwear-as-luxury market.
The visual language reads like a vintage 1990s Stüssy lookbook: hand-graffiti-tag typography, vermilion and royal-blue blocks against pure white, casual product photography of tees and caps. It is street-authentic, never sleek-minimalist or refined-luxury — it carries the swagger of the International Stüssy Tribe chapter network.
