Khiva Ichan-Kala Majolica

ProMax

The glazed majolica of Khiva's walled Ichan Kala — the squat, unfinished Kalta Minor minaret of 1855 and the courtyards of the Tash-Khauli palace — clothes entire walls in saturated jade-turquoise tile. Floral mosaic fields scroll in deep cobalt and white linework, glassy under the desert sun.

Cooler and greener than Bukhara's warmer ceramics, the Khorezm palette is a wall of glazed turquoise bloom. This system renders that surface in digital form: jade grounds, cobalt borders, white tracery as line — never as ground.
