About Trekking Permit 1980
A permit is not a poster. This one is a yellow card, printed once in violet ink, then finished by other hands — a typewriter filling the route line, a clerk's ballpoint, a rubber seal pressed at whatever angle the wrist allowed.
The design lives in that division of labour. The printed layer is orderly: ruled boxes, Devanagari left, English centre, a photo well top right. The added layer is crooked and blotted. Keep both, and keep them separate.
