Minangkabau Rumah Gadang

The Minangkabau rumah gadang ("great house") of West Sumatra is crowned by sweeping buffalo-horn gonjong roofs above carved hardwood gable walls, exquisitely worked in red and gold. Profuse floral and geometric ukiran relief covers dark lacquered wood, with gilt-thread songket cloth — gold on a red ground — as its textile counterpart.

This design system distills that signature: lustrous red and gilt over dark carved wood, beneath the dramatic horn silhouette. Dense curvilinear ornament, banded floral friezes, and gold-on-red panels carry the matrilineal grandeur of the great house into digital form.

印度尼西亚西苏门答腊的米南加保「大屋」（rumah gadang），以高高翘起的水牛角形屋脊（gonjong）为冠，下方是雕工繁复的硬木山墙，以红金二色精雕细琢。深色大漆木面上布满花卉与几何纹样的 ukiran 浮雕，与之呼应的是金线织就的红底宋吉锦（songket）织物。

本设计系统提炼出这一标志性气质：深色雕花木地之上，红与金交辉生辉，犬牙交错的角形屋脊高悬其上。稠密的曲线纹饰、连续的花卉饰带与金底红面的镶板，将这座母系大屋的庄严华美带入数字界面之中。
