About Telepresence Surgery Suite

In September 2001 a surgeon in New York removed a gallbladder from a patient in Strasbourg across a dedicated fibre link with 155 ms of round-trip delay. Everything about that room — the wipe-clean white cladding, the cyan of the SpO2 trace, the green-amber-red alarm ladder — was built to be read fast and read correctly under pressure.

This system inherits that discipline. Panels are flat and bordered, rules are one pixel, labels are numbered channels rather than friendly nouns, and latency is shown as a segmented bar with threshold ticks — never as the word "good". Nothing here decorates; every element is an instrument face.
