Glagolitic Script

Glagolitic (glagoljica) is the oldest Slavic alphabet, attributed to Saints Cyril and Methodius around 862–863 and built from rounded circles, triangles and loops. Its defining monument is the Baška tablet, carved around 1100 into pale Krk limestone. This system reads as carved stone: a faithful gray-white ground with dark recessed grooves rather than printed ink.

The voice is austere and devotional. Color stays inside a limestone gray-scale broken only by a single rubric red drawn from manuscript initials. Letterforms are incised with bevel and shadow, ruled along inscription lines, never flat, never ornamental for its own sake. The result is quiet, archaeological, and unmistakably pre-1900.

格拉哥里字母（glagoljica）是最古老的斯拉夫字母，相传由西里尔与美多迪乌斯两位圣 人于公元 862—863 年前后创制，整套字形由圆、三角与环扣构成。它最具代表性的实物是 约公元 1100 年的巴什卡石板（Bašćanska ploča），文字以阴影凹槽的形式刻入克尔克岛 苍白的石灰岩上。

这套设计忠实再现"刻石"的质感：底色是温润的石灰岩灰白，字迹则是深陷的暗色凹槽， 而非平印的墨色。气质肃穆而虔敬，色彩严格收束在石灰岩灰阶之内，只以一抹源自手抄本 红色起首字母的朱砂红点睛。字形带有斜切与阴影，沿刻线排布，绝不扁平，也绝不为装饰 而装饰——安静、考古、毫无疑义地属于 1900 年之前。
