About Egypt White Desert
A design system cut from the chalk of the Farafra depression: a near-white page the colour of a ventifact at noon, and a single ochre that only arrives when the sun drops low and rakes across rock and dune.
Type works like a survey sheet. Kufi Arabic leads every headline, Naskh carries the reading text, a Clarendon-style slab handles the Latin, and condensed labels carry coordinates, distances and bearings. Edges are hard and undercut on the windward side, never soft.
