English Cottage Garden

ProMax

The English cottage garden is less a layout than a temperament: roses, delphiniums and foxgloves spilling without rigid order against an old red-brick wall, lichen-flecked and warmed by age. Codified by William Robinson and Gertrude Jekyll in the late-nineteenth-century horticultural revival, it prized abundance and naturalism over geometry. This system translates that idiom — a warm weathered-brick ground, romantic high-contrast Garamond display, and layered floral silhouettes that overflow their borders. Everything reads as hand-tended density rather than designed grid.
