About G-SHOCK
A design system cut from the 1983 Casio DW-5000C: the first G-SHOCK. The page is the black urethane case, panels are strap black, and every important number sits in a recessed positive LCD framed by the red "brick wall" that surrounds the original readout.
Headings run in wide Michroma caps like the PROTECTION bezel print; specs and body copy are set in Archivo. Small gold and teal labels do the work of the case printing. It is hard-edged, matte and practical, a tool and not jewellery.
