Fiestaware Radioactive Red-Orange

ProMax

In 1936 Frederick Rhead's Fiesta line gave the American table its boldest color yet: a glossy orange-red glaze fired with uranium oxide. By day it reads as warm Fiesta red; under a collector's blacklight the uranium fluoresces a startling chartreuse-green.

This system stages that blacklight reading — concentric Art Deco ring rims and glossy ceramic glow set inside a dark display case, where green is the light and orange-red is the daylight memory.
