About Boston Dynamics Spot

Spot is the four-legged robot Boston Dynamics began selling to industry in 2019: black chassis and legs, bright yellow shells, photographed walking pipe racks, substations and muddy construction sites rather than lab floors.

This system takes that yellow-on-black machine and puts it inside its own operator software. Near-black panels, a top-down site map with a blue route line, a yellow robot card reporting battery and mission, red rows for anomalies, and spec cells that read like a datasheet.
