Bhutanese Drukpa Kagyu Thangka

ProMax

Bhutanese thangka painting from the Drukpa Kagyu lineage carries a cooler, more golden palette than central Tibetan work — ultramarine-cobalt grounds anchoring vermilion-robed deities framed in gold-leaf ornament. Every figure follows thousand-year textual positioning rules yet bears the trace of a single monk's wrist.

This design system translates the Punakha Dzong chapel aesthetic into interface: deep mineral-pigment cobalt as page ground, brocade-pattern borders as card frames, and gold-leaf accents marking interactive elements with the reverence of illuminated manuscript.
