About Are.na
Are.na is a New York tool for collecting and connecting ideas. You save blocks — images, text, links, files — into channels, and any block can live in many channels at once. There are no likes, no follower counts, no feed deciding what you see.
This system follows the 2014 interface: Arial everywhere, a pure white page, grey hairlines, small grey and black text, and a grid of square tiles. Channel titles turn green, red or grey depending on whether they are public, private or closed. Everything else gets out of the way of the material.
