About Anton Stankowski Constructive

Anton Stankowski drew processes, not things. Growth, overlap, rotation and change of state became diagrams in tempera, gouache and cut paper, laid on plain white sheets with nothing spare left in the frame.

The system here inherits that discipline: one flat blue, square corners, full-strength rules, asymmetric composition on a strict orthogonal grid. Every shape has to say what it does. Nothing is added to make a page look designed.
