A printed storybook that fell down a rabbit-hole. This is John Tenniel's 1865 Wonderland rebuilt as an interface: hairline wood-engraved linework, cross-hatched shading, ornamental drop-caps, and playing-card heraldry marching across a chalky mauve dream.
The color logic splits cleanly — flat heraldic scarlet and spade-black for the Queen's court, a powdered mauve-and-rose reverie for the dream itself. Everything reads as engraved illustration first, decoration second. Quite mad here, but impeccably typeset about it.
