Zen Browser

Zen Browser is the quietest fork of Firefox — an open-source project born in 2024 with one design conviction: the browser should disappear. Its visual identity rejects Arc's aurora maximalism in favor of zen-white pages, soft slate accents, and a mauve-tinted hover state that feels like a Helsinki apartment at 9 AM in January.

The system uses Inter for body text, Geist for headings, and an 8px spatial grid that gives every element room to breathe. Ghost buttons, hairline borders, and matte surfaces replace shadows and gradients. The result is a UI so low-stimulation that attention flows entirely to content.
