Vintage Passport Stamps

The 1920s passport page is an archive of crossings. After the League of Nations' 1920 conference standardized the booklet, every page carried the same furniture: engraved guilloche borders, numbered fields, and a thicket of overlapping rubber cachets in aniline violet and ink-blue, dated by hand and typewriter.

Curio renders that document not on bright rag paper but on its own ink-stained, darkened ground — a deep indigo leaf where condensed-gothic caps, partial-impression stamps, and serial-number blocks accumulate like a travel ledger. Nothing sits perfectly square; every mark is a record.
