Vietnamese Đông Hồ Folk Print

ProMax

Đông Hồ folk prints are Vietnam's most enduring domestic art — for over 400 years, families in Bắc Ninh province carved jackfruit-wood blocks, coated mulberry paper with crushed-clamshell iridescence, and printed lucky scenes for the Lunar New Year. This design system channels the vermilion warmth, naive woodblock charm, and five-color brilliance of a Tết market print stall.

Every element carries the texture of hand-carved blocks on điệp paper: warm cream surfaces float on vermilion grounds, indigo and jackfruit-orange accents punctuate folk compositions, and type echoes the wobbly inscription lines of woodblock captions.
