About UV Blacklight Poster
UV Blacklight Poster is the 1968 head-shop artifact engineered to glow under a black-light tube. Day-Glo fluorescent inks — electric violet, Corona pink, signal green — appear to levitate off a pure matte-black ground, wrapped in swirling, melting Art-Nouveau-derived lettering.
Unlike generic psychedelia, its identity is the engineered darkness: the all-black field exists so the fluorescents fluoresce. Every form radiates as if lit only by ultraviolet light.
