Liquid Chrome Y2K

ProMax

Liquid Chrome Y2K captures the moment the future was imagined as molten metal — bubble letterforms cast in mercury, blob logos that looked like they'd drip off the screen, and interfaces slicked with the same reflective sheen as a Thierry Mugler runway gown. It is chrome that behaves like liquid: gradients slide across it as if a hand had just run over wet metal, and every highlight is a blue-violet specular rather than a warm gold one.

The aesthetic depends entirely on contrast: chrome only reads as chrome when it reflects something dark. So the design lives on a cool gunmetal field, never cream, never flat gray — always a reflective void that lets the silver and blue-violet gradients shimmer convincingly on top of it.
