The Theremin design system descends from the 1929 RCA model: a polished dark mahogany cabinet on four gramophone-style legs, from which nickel-plated brass antennas rise to read a player's hands through an invisible electric field. It is the first electronic instrument — warm wood and metal hardware crossed with the cyan signature of an etheric wave.
The mass is dark wood and brass; cyan is the field, never the surface. Period geometric sans type and concentric ripple rings complete the radio-era voice.
